On the morning of September 3, the Party Branch of Sontian Motor organized all Party members to gather in Meeting Room 105 to watch the live broadcast of the grand military parade commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
This solemn ceremony showcased the spirit of a strong nation and a powerful army, igniting the patriotism and determination of all Party members to strive forward.
Witnessing a Solemn Moment Together
The atmosphere during the viewing was solemn and focused. All Party members watched attentively as the mighty formations marched across Tiananmen Square, listening carefully to President Xi Jinping’s important speech. When the impressive formations strode past in unison and the latest strategic weapons appeared, the room filled with pride and emotion — applause broke out repeatedly.
The parade lasted about 70 minutes, consisting of two parts: the review and the march-past. At the center of Tiananmen Square stood a year-number platform in the shape of the Great Wall beacon tower, flanked by 14 dove sculptures symbolizing the 14 years of China’s War of Resistance — carrying profound meaning.

Watching the parade was not only about honoring history and paying tribute to heroes — it was also about promoting the great spirit of patriotism and resistance.
On screen, 45 formations passed through Tiananmen Square, including flag-bearing formations, marching units, battle flag formations, equipment formations, and air echelons — vividly displaying the People’s Liberation Army’s strong capabilities in modern warfare.
The marching formations reflected the concept of “one old, one new” — the “old” representing veteran anti-Japanese units, and the “new” showcasing the modern restructuring of China’s armed forces. The equipment formations, organized by joint combat capability, demonstrated the remarkable achievements of China’s military modernization.

After the broadcast, General Manager Dai Xuezhi shared his reflections with all Party members.
