Over 5 Million Units Annual Capacity!
Leading auto parts manufacturer Zhejiang Sontian has moved to a new factory. The move, which seeks to expand Sontian’s manufacturing capacity, comes amid strong growth in the company’s core business of producing intelligent brushless motors for the automotive industry.
The new factory, which is located in the industrial zone of Zhejiang province, covers 80,000 square meters. The plant employs more than 600 people, among them 60 R&D engineers and 30 product quality specialists.
The new production base will enable the company to improve its production capacity and product and better meet the needs of its customers. This is in line with Sontian’s tradition of providing high-quality products and services.
Over 5 Million Units
With the new and bigger factory, Zhejiang Sontian Electromechanical System Co., Ltd. now produces over 5 million units annually. This is a major increase from the company’s previous manufacturing capacity of 3.5 million units.
The company plans to use the extra capacity to expand its business in overseas markets, a move that will see it become a global player in the BLDC motor industry.
Sontian currently manufactures radiator fans, window lifters, A/C blower motors, wiper motors, and starter motors for the automotive industry and the new factory is part of the company’s long-term strategy to increase its production capacity and build a global footprint.
